I won Cessna’s Learn to Fly contest at EAA’s Airventure 2008, after many months of delay they contacted me and I started ground school. During this time I jumped thru all the hoops and obtained my third class medical. That’s a story [...]

It is getting tiresome shoveling snow out of a 600 foot drive way.
Oh Yeah! By hand. Seems the tractor suddenly decided [...]

I have had the good fortune to travel to Germany on business, first to Dusseldorf for the K2007 plastics show, and then to Markdorf for work.
Today I had the opportunity to travel to see Neuschwanstein castle.
This neo-romanesque style castle was started in 1868 by King Ludwig II, though never finished due to his untimely death [...]

On July 4th 2006 weekend we stayed at Yankee Springs Park near Hastings, MI.
Garrett had the time of his life biking, boating, swimming, and fishing.
All the kids swarmed to the dock trying to catch fish, most were catching small brim.
Garrett has a history of catching the largest fish, and a trophy to prove it!

Spring has officially sprung, daylight savings time has given us time to mow the grass.
Suddenly there is more to do and be done than could possibly fit into your day.
But hey, at least it is warm and the days are longer so you have more time to do it all…or so you tell yourself.
Oh yeah…Bath

As you can see Dan has the tile laid in the new downstairs bathroom.
Walls are next!
This week is SpringBreak here in Marshall.
Dan, Garrett, and Michael have been busy around the house tending to long running winter projects.
Several weekends ago we managed to get Dan’s motorcycle running.
So Michael’s GR650 has become [...]
